My name is Joanne, or you can call me Jo. I live in Harton Village, South Shields. I have owned and cherished dogs all my life. My family includes two Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers who bring immense joy to our lives – Macey and Zak. You can see their pictures on the main page of my website.
I have recently made a significant career change after working in the NHS for 30 years. It has always been my ambition to run my very own dog walking business, and I'm now living that dream. This new endeavor brings me unparalleled job satisfaction. Walking your dog(s) is an absolute pleasure for me, and I am dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of your beloved furry friends at all times.
To me, dog walking is an enjoyable hobby after a lengthy career. I can help keep your dog(s) healthy as well as myself at the same time!

I can visit your home in the South Tyneside area (South Shields, Boldon, Cleadon, Whitburn, Seaburn, Jarrow) to collect your dog(s) for their daily walk.

I can provide a taxi service to a local destination on your behalf for a small fee. (Depending on length of journey).
Quick Visits
This service entails a 15 minute visit to your home to let your dog(s) out for a toilet break, feed or play time. (£7)
Services Information
I provide a personal dog walking service. Whenever you need, I will love and care for your dog(s). All dogs should be happy and healthy. I achieve this by giving your dog(s) daily exercise and showering your furry friend with love and affection.
My dog walking van is fully insured and equipped to transport your beloved dog(s) for their daily exercise. It features full air conditioning and ample space to keep your pets comfortable.
I can visit your home in the South Tyneside area, including South Shields, Boldon, Cleadon, Whitburn, Seaburn, and Jarrow to collect your dog(s) for their daily walk, whether it's a 1/2-hour or 1-hour walk, play, and exercise. I can walk your dog(s) in your local area, following your preferred walking route if you have one. Just let me know your preferences. Alternatively, I can drive to a local, safe open space away from traffic, providing your dog(s) with plenty of room to have fun. If you would like your dog to walk off-lead, I will require prior written consent.
Your requested hour or half hour walks do not include travel time, ensuring your dog(s) get the full allocated walking & exercise time.
I will ensure your dog(s) are as clean as possible upon return. My van is equipped with towels, wipes and all necessary equipment. I will also give your furry friends a drink when they are safely returned. If you would like me to give them a treat or feed them at home, that's no problem.
If you prefer your dog(s) to be walked on their own and not with other dogs, that is absolutely fine. The maximum number of dogs I walk is 2. If you require more than 2 dogs, just let me know via phone call.
Like humans, dogs need the mental stimulation that new sights and experiences bring, so a change of scenery on various new routes is a good thing. However, some dogs do prefer a routine, just like humans!
